Simpson Desert Tours 2012

The Simpson tour of 2008 ends with me watching our crew climb Big Red the last dune before Birdsville as the sun sets.

Jenny photographs the explorers' initials carved into the side of Chamber's Pillar. They date from 1870 when they were surveying the route of the overland telegraph line.
